Peter has been a longtime advocate of taking poetry out of books and libraries and bringing it to people in the community.
Peter is a community activist who is one of the charter coaches of Cambridge Pop Warner Football, co-founder of Cambridge
Girls Softball, and a ten-year veteran of the Cambridge Rindge & Latin School Wrestling coaching staff. Peter has
served as President of the Longfellow School PTA, chairman of the Longfellow neighborhood council, and a Human Services Commissioner.
He has contributed photographs and articles to the Cambridge Chronicle since 1992 covering all high school sports. One
of Peter’s photographs was recently selected to be featured on the City of Cambridge 2008 resident parking permit.
Peter Payack has been a Cambridge resident since 1972.
